Electronic Poker is a beloved game that can be wagered on in casinos all over the world, or in your house on your computer, through an Internet connection. The regulations are very straightforward and involve the player trying to get the highest combination of cards possible in order to come away with money. In this respect it is much the same as a classic game of poker, apart from the line of contact with other players. Generally, the lowest succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money increasing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It is obvious that the payout schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable gamblers are agile enough to pick the most money-making game each instance.

Once the first round has played out, the player can either decide to stay on and try to to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Further, several versions of the game give the bettor an opportunity to increase their profits, in which instance another hand is played. There are also variations among individual games, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
