Electronic Poker is a beloved game that can be enjoyed in casinos all over the globe, or alternatively at your house on your PC, using an Internet account. The regulations are very straightforward and consist of the player attempting to achieve the best mixture of cards possible in order to come away with cash. On this account it’s very similar as a normal game of poker, apart from the interaction with any other players. Of course, techniques used in a real-life game of poker, such as tricking, will be irrelevant in Video Poker.
The game of Electronic Poker starts when the gambler inserts credits (either tokens, tickets or cash) into the machine and presses the draw button. A hand of 5 cards will then be "dealt" on the screen.
The Video Poker machine also has buttons with ‘hold’ printed on them, and bettors should now choose which cards to hold and which to throw away. For the cards the bettor wishes to retain, the ‘hold’ buttons must be pressed so that they illuminate. The player can choose to keep any amount of cards they want, from all to none.
After the enthusiast has decided on which cards he wishes to keep, they should press ‘draw’, which will mean that any new cards are needed they will be dealt. The round is now completed, with the Video Poker machine scanning the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands listed in the payment schedule.
Generally, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money increasing for each and every better hand. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It goes without saying that the payment schedule can range from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable enthusiasts are agile enough to choose the most money-making game each and every time.
As soon as the first round has completed, the player can either choose to continue on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any money that they may have won. Further, several versions of the game allow the enthusiast a chance to double their wins, in which case another round is played. There are also differences between specific machines, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
